L.A. Sparks Brings Olympic Gold Medals to Camp JPAC

For the second consecutive year, the Los Angeles Sparks will conduct a basketball clinic for our special kids at Camp JPAC on Wednesday, August 8. Last year, point guard Natasha Lacy and Assistant Coach Sandy Brondello graciously volunteered their time to give pro tips to our happy campers! This year we are lucky to have Sparks forward and Olympic Gold Medalist DeLisha Milton-Jones and Assistant Coach Jim Lewis, as well as the return of Coach Brondello to teach kids various basketball techniques such as defense, dribbling and ball handling skills. DeLisha will also be bringing her Olympic Gold Medals to show the kids.

The Los Angeles Sparks are supporters of Camp JPAC, which provides FREE camp for 250 special needs children and their siblings of lower income and working class families. JPAC Campers are enjoying one month of free camp and participate in programs including dance, theatre, music, arts and crafts, sports, visit local attractions, enjoy free lunch and snacks and special weekly guest presenters, and more.

Stay tuned for pictures from the event!
